On Saturday we met some friends at Geoff's Fire hall for a fun tour and visit! Everyone took a turn in the driver's seat and spraying the hose! Tons of fun! I'm so excited to take James there when he's older and more interested in the trucks than the cones on the ground! It was fun nonetheless and it's great that we can take him there when Geoff's working for a visit!
Grandma and Papa G were over for Easter and we took James to Aldor Acres. Luckily we picked a day without rain and it was tons of fun. We saw tons of baby animals...among the highlights baby chicks, bunnies and 4 day old piglets (14 of them!)
James loved the hay ride, mostly because it was pulled by a massive tractor that they allowed him to sit on afterwards! What great family fun!
I've been looking on Craigslist for some outdoor Little Tikes play equipment and boy they sure get snapped up quickly! Luckily, I snapped up this climber for James for $35...a steal! He loves going down the slide, trying to climb up the slide, playing the basketball net and shooting 3's from downtown!
The slide pic came out a little fuzzy...he was going so fast!
This is just what I had hoped for warm light evenings! We had a great time after dinner with James outside and in, once the mosquitoes came out. James loved going fast in his car and also took some great steps towards walking (and running as you'll see in the last segment with his firetruck). I love family nights!
James' Auntie Jocey spoils him rotten with the cutest clothes, so we decked James out in his new Yankees hat and he surprisingly kept it on!
James is also a super fan of DOGS! Last night we went over to his friend Hudson's house for dinner and he loved playing (& taunting) Charlie. He made the cutest face when Charlie would walk past him, as if he was bracing for a big wet kiss!
