The Laugh-Cry
Staying home on a cold Saturday night while Geoff's at work...so I decided to go through the video camera and pull some cute clips. James quite often will laugh or make happy sounds which turn directly into cries, as evidenced by this little video! Enjoy!

He really DOES exist!
I tried telling James about Santa Clause when I got him to write him a letter and he just laughed and said 'no way Mom, no one can bring all those toys to all those kids in one night!' But today James was a believer! Not only did James get a personal letter in the mail from Santa, but he got to meet him too! Here's the proof!

Good old fashion tree trimming!
We took James out to chop down his first Christmas tree yesterday. He bundled up in his reindeer sleeper and was quite the crowd pleaser! Today we decorated the tree and put up a ton of lights to amuse him! Music in the background and lots of reminiscing as we put up all our ornaments! Great first Christmas memories!

The next Gerber baby??
My good friend Shelly did some amazing pics of James this afternoon and here are my favs! Is it just me or do all parents think their baby should be the next Gerber baby? Seriously! I would buy stuff that kid was selling!

Oh Mom, you're so funny!
I was telling James some jokes at the park today and he was cracking up and having a good old laugh...so hard he almost fell out of his swing! Well not quite, but he sure does look like he's going to!

Mmmm...prunes?
Without embarrassing James too much in great detail, we needed to try to get some action going down south...so we tried strained prunes this morning. With cautious optimism, we gave him the first spoonful and to our delight..he LOVED them! Couldn't wait to get the next spoonful in. When he was done, he looked like he'd happily been at an all-you-can-eat-rib fest! James McRibIntyre...or McPruneIntyre I should say!

We also tried him in his new high chair. We actually told him it was a rocket launcher and he didn't cry going into it, as he normally does with most things he's strapped into.

The camera adds 10 pounds!
He also loves to play on our bed, about as much as I like to sleep in my bed (which is rare at times). He's a cute shot of him in the midst of peek-a-boo!
